Buns of Gold

YES! That is a picture of my daughter's naked bum.
Why? You ask, do I have this as a post on my blog? Well read on my friend!

Monday I was SO tired. Felt like my feet were dragging after about 11 am. Sometimes it hits me then, others it's around 2 or 3. I know I know, Naked Bum ALREADY!! :) I'll get there. Just wait.
So I got up about 8, Camryn, about 8:20. We play, see some friends at the park, eat lunch & have a great morning. I decide though, when she goes down for a nap, that my heavy eyelids are taking a nap as well. So I let her play in her room for about half an hour, kind of winding herself down. Then I place her in her bed, tuck her in with her blanket & baby & a little book to read.
She stays for a little bit, then I start hearing a funny noise about 5 minutes later.
I go in & she is chewing on the book. Dang it.  [still in bed mind you]
So I take it away and tell her it's time for nap.
I leave the room & go downstairs. Her gate is in front of the door and everything in her room is ok for her to get into, unless she gets in the closet [which she doesn't yet thank goodness].
So I feel comfortable leaving her alone &  I  catch up on some things I've been wanting to go through.
It's very quiet upstairs & I go check on her about 10-15 minutes later.
She is out like this, with the blanket pulled up so I just see her onesie, arms, & head.
about half  an hour later I think to myself, "Oh man, she's probably getting warm with pants on & that thick blanket. So I go up to exchange her blanket for a thinner one & this is what I see.

her diaper is tucked nicely under her left side & her pants are off to the right.
I am having a hard time NOT laughing out loud & I check to make sure she has not wet the bed before I run & grab the camera. I snap a shot just as she is waking up.
[only an hour nap.. dang it.]
She turns over, smiles at me, pokes her bum and says, "hi."
I start laughing and ask her what happened!
She just looks at her diaper like, "just didn't want it on." Apparently no big deal. :)
She was hot by the way, her hair kind of sweaty & her feet really warm.
So I redress her, take her downstairs and send a message to her dad on his phone.
He got a kick out of the picture when he got home.

Such a SILLY little girl and she's all mine :)
