I had a scheduled inducement for my due date, April 8th, 2010 since my Mom flew down to help me & be with us for the birth. I didn't want to go over my due date for that reason.
We were supposed to head in by 7am & a nurse called at 6am to let me know they were backed up & we were 2nd on the waiting list to head in.
The nurse told me to call back in 4 hrs, [10am]...
I did & was told if no one called by 1pm, to call again...
I again did so & they once again told me if no one called within the next 4 hrs to call again.
All the while telling me reassuringly, But I'm sure it'll be sometime today!
I did NOT want to go overnight!
Unless I would be able to sleep the whole night while there, I knew I'd be exhausted & hungry by the end of it all.
The nurse called back by 2 & said we were able to come in.
FINALLY!!!
We get checked in, head to the room & I get my IV by about 2:45.
My last outfit for this pregnancy
My last Dr. appointment was Monday the 5th [same week we headed in].
I was 5 cm dilated, 85% effaced & the baby was VERY low.
No one knew how I wasn't already at the hospital. Including me!
We kept everyone waiting in anticipation for our little guy to come out.
It finally happened at 10:50 pm.

It was a long wait, after 2 rounds of antibiotics, 4 hrs apart
& I actually only had to push for 10 minutes..
Grandma Lori was our photographer
& the only other person besides the hospital staff, in the room with us.
Came home Saturday evening..
Camryn was oh so happy to finally SEE "Byton!"
So were we.
Went to Olive Garden to celebrate My part of our shared Birthday on Friday.
and had a combined party [mainly for Camryn & her friends] on Saturday
Grandma Suzanne was able to stay with us after my Mom left & it was So nice!
2 kids before 30.. Jordan got what he wished for :)
Auntie Melissa & Hillary were able to come with Grandma Suzanne
& were such a great help with Camryn.
Camryn likes to be helpful with Brighton & normally is a grand little helper.
Most of the time she likes to love on him a little too rough though.
Have to constantly watch her around him.

Can't believe I have 2 kids..
But looking at this little body, how can I NOT want more?

He is adorable! I love all the pictures. My favorite is the one of you & Camryn in front of the bday cakes...you look gorgeous!
Oh he is so cute! He looks like Cam even! Wish I could be there to hold him. I love babies too, and when they are so little you can't help but to love the little ball they curl themselves into. Ahhh... enjoy it... ever minute!
