Monday after work, Jordan informs me that he is going to finish the gate that he and our friend Dan started on Saturday. I was very excited for him to finish this project & kept Camryn inside so he could.
Right before I start getting dinner ready, he asks me to come out and help hold the boards while he uses the screw gun to put holes into each plank. So like the wonderful supporter that I am, I went on the outside of the gate, squatted down indian style & pressed each board while he made a hole, then screwed the screw into the hole.
Several cars pass during this time and I get quite a few random stares. I could imagine what they were thinking:
"Why is that pregnant lady sitting outside her gate?? and why is she just pushing on it?"
Camryn is left on her own at this point, cartoons were on, but the door was open & mom & dad were outside. So of course, she wanders out. But I can barely see her through the cracks as each board takes up my peeking room.
Jordan's back is to her but I can tell she is playing in the sawdust that has been left at Jordan's work station. That was fine, as long as she didn't attempt eating it. I told Jordan to check & see if any had made it into her mouth. Sure enough, some did. Gross.
But she was content and I was helping my husband. So once again, his back turns away and I focus on pressing against each plank.
All of the sudden I hear Jordan exclaim, "OH!! Cam-RYN!!! No!"
I am wondering what the heck is going on, worried something has happened since I can no longer see her. Jordan has stood up and started wiggling around.
I ask what happened a couple of times while he tries to wipe her hands off and get her to stay inside.
He finally replied, "She put sawdust down my crack!"
I start busting up and can't stop laughing. I could just picture her quietly, with a fistful of sawdust, sprinkle it lovingly down her father's backside.
She of course took off running into the house with sawdust on her socks and dirt in her hands. He cannot get mad of course because it was so funny!
In my mind, she just saw a hole that needed to be filled :) Kinda jumped when he yelped I think. haha
Anyway, the fence is done and my hunny did an AMAZING job! Yay for privacy again!
Love you jordan!

And the gate looks great, too:)
Love ya!
Yeah, we noticed your gate and are jealous of it. :) It looks great! And that story about Cameron putting sawdust down Jordan's crack is HILARIOUS!
P.S. Thanks again for visiting today. It was so good talking with you!
That is the funniest story ever!! I think Jordan deserved that, if he is going to show off that crack, it is fair game for Camryn to play with it!
I hope he learned an important lesson.
Love you guys!
