Camryn and I had a teaparty Thursday afternoon.
She was such a good girl that day and played so well for me,
I decided to give her some well deserved
sit-down-mommy-time.
[it's not often I sit in her little chairs to play with her]
I usually tend to rock in the glider while she plays,
brings things to me and gibbers on and on about what's going on.
You can totally picture it too, can't you! :)
I need to suck it up and get down to play with her!!
I put all these excuses out there: my stomach hurts too much.. I'm too tired..
she's playing good I won't disturb it..
when really I'm too lazy
to get down on her level and be a fun friend!
I need and WANT to be a mom that's playful and fun as well as the disciplinary, the teacher, a comforter and security for my kids. I want them to remember me getting dirty WITH them and running through the sprinklers chasing them, not watching from the sidelines..

So we pretended to eat, stir our food, pour some tea and drink it!
-i felt better about my role as mom that day & have been striving to be better since. Go me!!
I'm sorry yet again that I only have phone pictures but get used to it!
At least I have SOMEthing to capture the fun moments for yall!

I LOVE TEA partys! Pretty much EVERY lunch is a tea party at our house! I totaly know what you mean about sitting around watching on the side lines while your kid plays. Once you start having more energy you will be right back wanting to play!! I went through that while pregnant. I felt like such a horriable mom because I never wanted to play. You are a great mom and are always doing fun things! I will have to email you some thing that I do that has helped me with having 2 girls and giving them there fun time its been really fun and rewarding and makes me feel like I am being a fun mom! You asked about my costume. I just made it. We kinda just through it together that day! LOL. I used my vinyl machine to make my X on my shirt and jacket then just spray painted my hair. Logan made his costume that day. We were bad and waited til the last min. But I think they turned out ok!!
