Sweet Valentines

We were missing Jordan so much! and he was back in Arizona missing us too.

Camryn & I decided to stay with my parents at the last minute Friday the 13th. 

We drove around down town Salt Lake FOREVER in a desperate search for Dairy Queen. ha ha

We had to settle for root beer floats from A&W which were just nice.

We then called around 10 hotels trying to find an open room with 2 beds. Little luck.

Finally one not too far from the hospital said they did for Fri only. SWEET!!

We unloaded for the night, me in clothes I had packed to give my mom for my younger sister, and Camryn in her cousin Gavin's sweats. Thanks again Jaime!

Valentine's Day we..

got to see how much bigger Camryn is than Gavin..

He's 11 months Camryn is 10.

She's a big girl. I'm not worried about her holding her own. Ha ha ha ha

They're both in the 'standing cool and a few steps here a there' phase. 

Hannah is 3 and LOVED her Valentine's gifts from her parents.

She couldn't wait for Jaime to give them to her.

She found them in the bag herself actually! :]

She's such a good talker and so perceptive!

My oldest brother Michael. He's 31 and the oldest of 6.

I'm the 2nd to last. I'm 21. 

We used to read & watch medieval stories together. 

He & Jaime used to live next to my parents while I was in High School and I would come home, head over to Mike's and either:

eat a late lunch with him, 

play on the computer next to his, 

help him study for classes, 

watch a great movie, 

or get sucked into a book while reading to Mike till Jaime came home.

I just found out she's pregnant! Woo hoo Ang! Congrats!!

She was like another big sister to me when I was younger. 

We all grew up around each other. Their youngest sister Ashley [also another sister] is a couple months younger than me and we would ALWAYS play together. Since Nursery. 

I love that family.

Camryn got a Valentine's outfit and many others from her Fantastic Grandma Suzanne!

Auntie Mel is the artistic one that tied the wrap around Cam's head.

I'm surprised she left it on so long. hah

She was having a grand 'ol time having pictures taken of her.

And Sunday night, after another long drive.. this is what I came home to.

We don't celebrate ON Valentine's Day, because we got engaged Feb 17th.

SOOO I wasn't expecting anything till Tuesday and Jordan asked when we'd be home so he had time to put prepare.. Isn't my husband so wonderful!

We had told the date wrong to our friend's mom that did the vinyl for us. That's why it's missing the 29th. 

Oops. My bad.

He decorated the wall above the bed AND bought the curtains and cool lamp for our room.

He's such a stud.

I love having such a creative and thoughtful husband. 

And I'm glad I have someone who loves to put colors schemes and designs together like me!

All in all, it was a great weekend! 

Lonely without my best friend, but much needed family time.
