The Past Months

So I've been slacking and getting online to do OTHER things, rather than update this and I apologize. Especially to those we don't get to see often and this is how we keep tabs on each other.
Welp, get ready for a few pictures of everything to kind of give you a clue as to what we've been up to and how we've been spending our last days of smoldering heat..

I did this post out of order, We did some things I'll post next, like go to Utah and Idaho.
When we got back from that trip this is what's gone on:
Went to Jeepers for play group.
$1 admission and believe me, this place couldn't have been worth much more.
[Oh, the $1 was an unlimited wrist band, VERY nice] :)
I'm sorry but it was kind of dumpy.
Once again, Cam loved herself a couple rides on the carousel.

Brighton hung out and watched her and all the other loud things going on around us.

We didn't bother getting tokens since all the rides were included in the $1 admission
She was a little disappointed but there weren't many fun games except we did squirt the water guns & pound some alligator heads with Levi :)

Yeah.
I'm up there in the tunnels.. about 25 ish feet off the ground :)
Levi wanted someone to go with him [adult] and Cam led the way!
My knees were killin by the time we slid down the slide.
In a couple places, the rubber step things to help you crawl along, were missing so it was a funky hole you had to sort of step over or crawl through the mangled mess.. yes it was THAT cool.

A day or 2 later we had a picnic for lunch on the floor and Cam LOVED the juice boxes I got her and sucked it dry within the first 3 minutes of giving it to her.
Of course.
Anything with a straw :)

B loved having us near him on the floor. He's such a happy little guy.
You talk to him and make noises with your mouth and you've got him in the palm of your hand

Jordan grew his hair out a little more and gained some sexy scruff.
Although it's not so sexy being poked constantly when kissing..

Every time we open the door Cam bolts out of it. Sometimes for the gate, wanting to go somewhere. Anywhere.
Other times she just says, "Pay outside." or "Pay in water?"
Which is a hose that we have hooked to the spout right out front the door.
She will play out there filling things up and dumping them for hours if I'd let her..
Oh to have a yard where I could water the grass AND let her run through a sprinkler!

She's been letting me put things in her hair to keep her eyes free from poking bangs [yessssss!]
I've decided I want to see how her hair will look with them grown out.
If she looks too much older, I'm chopping them again :)
She IS sweating and that is sidewalk chalk on her cheek.

This is her and him on the blanket in the living room almost every day BEFORE I ask her 3 or 4 times to get out of his face cause he is whining and send her to time out for not listening..

Then Julie & Levi stopped by asking to run out and play in the awesome rainstorm we were having.
We did.

B took a bath and gave Jordan one of his famous 'what the heck' looks.
Words can't even describe. You just have to witness it.

Went to a park for another playgroup that had a huge fountain & kid friendly splash pad.
You could hear this "Cheeeeeeeeese!!" over 50 ft away :)
Thanks for the pictures Julie!

I had to take Camryn through most of the water fountains otherwise she would just squat and play with her bucket and shovel in the hip-level fountains, filling, dumping, filling, dumping..
As you can tell she didn't let them go while we ran :)
Is that not a look of pure joy?

B Just hung out most of the time and I got him wet here and there to keep him cooled off, but he's just not big enough for me to put down in the water or anything like that yet.

Went to target and Cam insisted on wearing this throughout the store after finding it in the $1 section when you first walk in

My Dad's Mom, Grandma Marilyn Pannell stayed with us Saturday 4th-Wednesday 8th and the kids LOVED having her there. I didn't mind either :)
It was so neat hearing all the stories she had about growing up in Arizona [she's a native] and when her and my Grandpa dated, how she raised my Dad & his brothers, etc..
Wish I had a recorded that I could've left on the whole time she was with us.

This last Saturday we had a surprise visit from some good friends!
Chelsea, Ryah and Aubree Denhalter stopped in to say hello while they were in town for a short time.
Camryn was so excited to see Ryah [as much as she could be, having just woken up]

When Daddy comes home from work it can be a joyous occasion!
[when Cam chooses not to be sour from just waking up]
I love her face in this one

Asks to hold him now

He's fun to interact with more. Loves funny faces, silly noises & playing peek-a-boo

Did I mention he is rolling over? :)
Not to get around yet mind you, but he does go from back to stomach, and occasionally stomach to back [not always on purpose] :) Hasn't started using it as a way to get around, but no more couches for you mister!
Oh and he has some teeth that are trying to pop out of his bottom gums [one for sure on his bottom left
:) Exciting stuff!

We've been busy, yet not done very much. It IS possible! :)
2 little ones keep me on my toes constantly and those who know me REALLY well, know that I have a low tolerance level when I am running on lack of sleep. But man, I think some days Heavenly Father must REALLY know what he's doing to entrust me with those 2 little grins, wake ups every hour during the night sometimes, 10 messy fingers, an embrace with 2 little arms wrapped tight around my neck, a creative & smart husband, now only 1 poopy diaper, a constant, "MOMMY! Wipe me!" tired little eyes, sweet little giggles, 4 chubby cheeks [facial AND bum], a scruffy kiss in the evenings, a little voice praying, loud burping in my ear, an arm that pumps a mile a minute [Brighton], a little ponytail bobbing around the house, a stern voice saying, "No mommy, do it myself",  a live-in 2nd babysitter for my sanity [Jordan] :) 2 tiny hands feeling my face then grabbing & pulling my hair towards his mouth, an 'I love you' either said at nap time or whispered as we kiss goodnight, a request to rock in the rocking chair together for those brief cuddle moments, a "what do you want for dinner tonight?" question, an accomplished roll over, a victorious smile & an excited "Byton rolled over!! Hooray Byton!"
Come to think of it, my life is pretty good..

His "what the heck" look is FUNNY in that picture, so I can only imagine it in real life! :)
